7 May 2009Last year we added Bushboard encore to our range of worktops. Although the available colours are limited, with its clever system for undermount sinks, you can achieve a similar effect to Corian without quite the same outlay. We have been using Bushboard encore for some months now to excellent effect and the great satisfaction of our clients.

The design process

4 November 2008You would have to be living on a desert island not to notice that the UK property market has been challenging through the second half of 2008. There are several services that have been in demand and which have shown our clients immediate benefit:
• Where a property is on the market (for sale or rent) we have cost-effectively designed and supplied furnishings so that it is nolonger lost amongst the tired-looking cream flats in the estate agents' details.
• Where refurbishments are under way, we have designed and fitted kitchens within revised budgets, without compromising quality.
More than ever, it is important to stand out from the rest of the market and to conserve your resources where you can.

22 Sep 2008Decorex is another of the London design shows that just cannot be missed. This year many of our favourites were back, Carlos Remes, Aura Interiors, the Portfolio Collection with prints by Bella Pieroni and many others. However, the things we focused on the most were the rugs, wallcoverings and bespoke furniture. The custom made rugs, especially those by Chichi Cavalcanti, were particularly striking and it is easy to see how they would fit in anywhere from a luxurious sitting room to a corportate headquarters. The bespoke carpentry fired our imagination with the superb quality leaving us with thoughts of fabulous built-in and separate co-ordinated furniture. Finally, our eye was caught by the extravagent hand-crafted chandeliers and lights by Phillips & Wood.
We came away from Decorex with a strong feeling that the opportunities to create luxury are limited only by one's imagination.

20 Sep 2008100% Design is one of the premier UK design events. This year there were some truly inspirational materials. In fact, so many that it is hard to pick out our favourites. The first I will mention was the fantastic collection of Italian tiles. The colours, textures and sizes could not fail to ignite one's creativity.
Then there were the fabrics; in particular, stunning fabrics made from metals, combined with modern and traditional materials by Luc Druez.
You will, without a doubt, see these and many others in our designs throughout this year.
